Imagine if your school was closed due to an epidemic or natural disaster. Imagine the impact on students’ learning.

Although there’s a plethora of ‘portal’ products that claim to help, all of them require teachers to do lots of extra work to get their learning content online.

Used in conjunction with Teachers’ Assistant, SEQTA coneqt lets teachers simply write their teaching-learning programmes, and students can learn online.

SEQTA coneqt has changed the portal landscape forever. Teachers do nothing more than write their programmes, set their assessments, and enter marks to keep students and parents up to date, up to the minute.

Now correct us if we’re wrong, but that’s what teachers have to do anyway!

Easy access to information

SEQTA coneqtenables students to quickly and easily access information that they use everyday.

The SEQTA coneqt home screen

Timetables, notes, and todo lists are available from the Coneqt home screen, allowing students to easily keep track of where they need to be, and what they need to do.

Students can even colour in their timetable however they would like.

Track assessment progress

Students can track their progress in class by viewing the results of assessments on line. Naturally, teachers can determine whether or not these results are available to students.

Progress charts, coversheets, and upcoming assessments are available to students

Students can also see assessments coming up within the next two weeks, and can even submit their assessment files electronically. Teachers can then easily download all of the submitted files, grouped by student, and with information on when they were submitted.

Parent portal

Currently in development is our parent portal – SEQTA coneqt.p. Keeping parents up to date is no longer a chore, as their childrens’ timetables, assessments and school notices are made instantly available.

Parents are able to view information for each of their children. Additional features for coneqt.pincludes viewing a child’s attendance history and pastoral care summary with absolutely no extra work required from school staff.

In future releases, parents will be able to communicate with teachers, book appointments and tag notes and assessments.

Implentation of SEQTA coneqt.pwill begin in August of 2010.
